Sky Island Farm is a small, diverse and sustainable produce farm in
Grays Harbor County Washington.
They produce a wide variety of organic vegetables. Maintain an elite herd of Nubian and LaMancha goats, along with a herd of Natural Colored Corriedale and Romney Sheep.
Kate from Sky Island shared, “We specialize in growing high quality produce, microgreens, flowers, nursery stock, beauty and sanitary nonedible goat products like lotion, soap,..etc.. ” and went on to tell us, ” We currently have microgreens for sale. They make a wonderful and tasty addition to any meal!”. Micro Greens are highly nutritious, some being up to 40 times more nutritious than its adult counterpart. The different types of microgreens Sky Island offers are Rambo radish, sunflower shoots, pea shoots, cilantro, arugula, greens mix and more.
When the spring season gets closer they will have a wide variety of produce to offer such as salad mix, spinach, kale, chard, broccoli raab, and more. Later in the season look forward to dozens of other crops available like tomatoes, squash, lettuce, peppers and more. They will also be offering fresh cut flowers during the summer. To round out winters offerings they hand tie locally sourced wreaths, garlands, and centerpieces.
Oyhut Bay thinks Sky Island Farms Motto, “We strive to put the finest quality produce on tables at unbeatable prices. Our goal is to make excellent quality food affordable for all!”, is a great one.
