This is more than a chili competition—it’s a full weekend of flavor\, community\, and coastal fun. \n\n\n\nHeld at the Ocean Shores Convention Center\, this popular event brings together chili lovers and artisan vendors from across the state. It also raises money for local causes\, including support for Green Lake Assisted Living residents. \n\n\n\nThe Artisan Fair runs both Saturday and Sunday. You’ll find handmade goods\, coastal gifts\, and global crafts. It’s a great place to shop for unique items and support small businesses. \n\n\n\nOn Sunday\, the main event begins. The Chili Cook off kicks off at 10 AM with four official categories: Traditional Red\, Homestyle\, Verde\, and Veggie. There’s also a salsa competition that heats things up even more. \n\n\n\nTasting kits are available for just $5. You can sample the entries and vote for your favorites. Whether you prefer mild or mouth-burning heat\, there’s a bowl with your name on it. \n\n\n\nThis cook off is a sanctioned event and a qualifier for the World Championship Chili Cookoff. Winners from Ocean Shores could go on to compete in Indianapolis this fall. \n\n\n\nFood trucks and fun treats will be available throughout the weekend.
