Crabby Daddy and the Blue Mermaid welcomes you to enjoy the perfect stay, nestled here in Oyhut Bay Seaside Village. Enjoy a delicious meal and craft cocktails at the Oyhut Bay Grill, shop for groceries for your stay and enjoy homemade baked goods from the Oyhut Bay Market and Bakery, and make sure to stop by our other retail shops throughout the village.
Crabby Daddy and the Blue Mermaid is a dog friendly cottage. Please bring your dogs bedding and favorite toy with you, it is appreciated that you do not allow your dogs on the furniture and bedding.
With all the comforts of home, Crabby Daddy and the Blue Mermaid is the perfect retreat for your next beach adventure.
Oyhut Bay Seaside Village is built on the edge of the Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area. Often called the “natural side” of Ocean Shores, this area offers miles of sea level hiking. Bring your camera for some wonderful nature photography. The nearby north jetty has spectacular waves to enjoy from afar - especially at high tide or on a stormy day.
Just across Marine View Drive, Oyhut Bay provides access to 26 miles of canals for kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding. Even on the rainiest of beach days, there is something for everyone at Oyhut Bay. Enjoy a relaxing fire in the fireplace and a good book. There are no bad days at the beach.

We very much enjoyed our weekend family trip to Oyhut Seaside Village. Very well maintained, cute cottages and condos with great amenities on the property. Close enough to town to not be put off by travel time but far enough away to not feel like youre part of the tourist hustle and bustle. We loved it and will definitely be back!

We were really impressed of the location, the amenities, and the proximity you are to beach and shops to Downtown Ocean Shores. We appreciate the fun theme of the crab and the mermaid, the hot and cold outside house to wash our sandy feet, and just the well thought out home items you had in the home.. Thank you for having our family of 4 including our dog who loved being with us.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience on our first trip to Ocean Shores. Not knowing the area, we weren't sure where to stay. The staff was so courteous and understanding. Their assurance about the location made the choice easy for us to stay at the rental property. We weren't disappointed! We hope to come back on a future trip.

We would definitely consider staying at Oyhut again. The only drawback for us is the houses don't accommodate the number of people we often travel with. Most of the time we need a 4 bedroom house with at least 3 bathrooms.
