A charming one bedroom, one bathroom, you will fall in love with everything Butter Clam Cottage has to offer. Open concept living spaces, a back porch to shake the sand off your boots, and a front porch for relaxing with friends and family await you upon arrival.
Butter Clam Cottage welcomes you to enjoy the perfect stay, nestled here in Oyhut Bay Seaside Village. Enjoy a delicious meal and craft cocktails at the Oyhut Bay Grill, shop for groceries for your stay and enjoy homemade baked goods from the Oyhut Bay Market and Bakery, and make sure to stop by our other retail shops throughout the village.
Butter Clam Cottage is a dog friendly cottage. Please bring your dogs bedding and favorite toy with you, it is appreciated that you do not allow your dogs on the furniture and bedding.
With all the comforts of home, Butter Clam Cottage is the perfect retreat for your next beach adventure.
Oyhut Bay Seaside Village is built on the edge of the Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area. Often called the “natural side” of Ocean Shores, this area offers miles of sea level hiking. Bring your camera for some wonderful nature photography. The nearby north jetty has spectacular waves to enjoy from afar - especially at high tide or on a stormy day.
Just across Marine View Drive, Oyhut Bay provides access to 26 miles of canals for kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding. Even on the rainiest of beach days, there is something for everyone at Oyhut Bay. Enjoy a relaxing fire in the fireplace and a good book. There are no bad days at the beach.

Butter Clam
The home was super cozy, fireplace kept everything nice and warm. Bed was comfortable to sleep in. We had enough dishware to prepare food at the house and the bar and grill was a close walk for us to walk to. We will be back for sure.
Great little comfortable cottage conveniently located in the Oyhut village. Furniture was comfortable and house had an appropriately stocked kitchen.
