A comfortable two bedroom, two bathroom, you will love everything Sand Castle Cottage has to offer. Open concept living spaces, a back porch to shake the sand off your boots, and a front porch for relaxing with friends and family await you upon arrival.
Sand Castle Cottage welcomes you to enjoy the perfect stay, nestled here in Oyhut Bay Seaside Village. Enjoy a delicious meal and craft cocktails at the Oyhut Bay Grill, shop for groceries for your stay and enjoy homemade baked goods from the Oyhut Bay Market and Bakery, and make sure to stop by our other retail shops throughout the village.
Sand Castle Cottage is a dog friendly cottage. Please bring your dogs bedding and favorite toy with you, it is appreciated that you do not allow your dogs on the furniture and bedding.
Oyhut Bay Seaside Village is built on the edge of the Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area. Often called the “natural side” of Ocean Shores, this area offers miles of sea level hiking. Bring your camera for some wonderful nature photography. The nearby north jetty has spectacular waves to enjoy from afar - especially at high tide or on a stormy day.
Just across Marine View Drive, Oyhut Bay provides access to 26 miles of canals for kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding. Even on the rainiest of beach days, there is something for everyone at Oyhut Bay. Enjoy a relaxing fire in the fireplace and a good book. There are no bad days at the beach.

I really love Oyhut

I really love Oyhut. The Sandcastle is pretty and clean and comfortable. It is a nice, relaxing change of pace. (Even if the weather does not co-operate) It's family and dog friendly.

Very clean and looks brand new. Everything in its place, nice quality amenities. Even down to dog beds and pet bowls in case you forgot your own! Neat and tidy and we loved the space. Also liked being at the end of the row for added privacy and parking. Nice bbq grill as well. Loved the outdoor hot/cold rinsing station so we could clean up after going to the beach! It was nice to be able to walk to the village too! Only thing we wished was to be within walking distance to the beach but absolutely loved the place and cant wait to come back!

We ALWAYS love our time in the Oyhut cottages! We've stayed about 8 times and have stayed in 7 different homes. Each has been extremely clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The homes all come stocked with all the cookware and dishware you could need, paper towels, dish soap and sponge and cute decor! My only complaint is the 5pm check in time. It used to be 3pm but sometime in the last year or so switched to 5pm which really puts a cramp in plans and almost makes me wonder if its worth it since check out is 11am, so an "overnight" is really only 17 hrs. Also, store was redone recently and now has coffee shop and the most delicious baked goods ever!!

We have been fortunate enough to have stayed in a few different cottages since we discovered Oyhut Bay, all which have been absolutely wonderful. This time was no different, we had an amazing time.
