With all the comforts of home, Sea Stars and Stripes Beach Cottage is the perfect retreat for your next beach adventure. Sea Stars and Stripes Beach Cottage is not a pet friendly cottage.

Oyhut Bay Seaside Village is built on the edge of the Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area. Often called the “natural side” of Ocean Shores, this area offers miles of sea level hiking. Bring your camera for some wonderful nature photography. The nearby north jetty has spectacular waves to enjoy from afar - especially at high tide or on a stormy day.

Just across Marine View Drive, Oyhut Bay provides access to 26 miles of canals for kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding. Even on the rainiest of beach days, there is something for everyone at Oyhut Bay. Enjoy a relaxing fire in the fireplace and a good book. There are no bad days at the beach.

Cozy little cottage steps away from the restaurant and bar. Very quiet and relaxing and very comfortable. We’ve been several times over the past few years and the unit is always immaculate.

We stayed at the Sea Stars & Stripes cottage, and it was our first time visiting Oyhut Bay Seaside Village. The community as a whole is quaint and very appealing. The first thing I noticed upon arrived at the cottage was that it was impeccably clean and tidy. The hot tub was warm and ready to go. Everything we needed was right there. The decor and design were perfect and cozy without being over done or too much. The whole community is walkable. There is a bar/restaurant very nearby. A little grocery, gift shop and wine/beer bar too! We will definitely be back and have already been telling friends about it!

We needed to relax. We did. The house had everything we desired and more. Thank you for a well equipped kitchen. The hot tub and firepit were enjoyed each day. I have been to Ocean Shores numerous times but did not know about Oyhut Bay Seaside Village. What a charming community that will not get too big. The walk to the ocean thru the wildlife preserve was great fun and the lattes at the Oyhut Market and Bakery were delicious.

From the moment we checked in at the office, it was obvious that this complex had superior customer service and amenities. Once we were in the rental house, we were impressed by how cute and stylish it was. IMPECCABLY clean and stocked with everything needed and more! It was even more spacious than I'd envisioned and we had wildlife visitors (deer) off our deck every day. We had a marvelous stay. Thank you!

Although the weather was quite chilly for July, our experience in Oyhut bay was excellent. Our beach cabin was well appointed with everything we might need. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. We enjoyed bicycle riding and the hot tub. Off property, we rented kayaks and had a wonderful time exploring the canal system.
