056 The Sanctuary

It was great! We will be back!

The house was clean and tidy. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the beds were extremely comfortable. In addition, the house was adjacent to the nature trail which leads to the beach; and the restaurant, convenience store and tavern were within easy walking distance.

My wife and I spent 10 days at The Sanctuary in Ocean Shores with old friends in mid November. We found the Sanctuary to be incredibly clean and very well equipped and furnished. We enjoyed cooking fresh local seafood in the efficient full kitchen. We walked on beaches and explored Oyhut Bay each day. When blustery fall storms blew through we relaxed around the cozy fireplace. We are looking forward visiting the Sanctuary again soon.

Our stay was wonderful. My daughter was married in the venue at Oyhut And it turned out to be A beautiful weekend for my family.

The Sanctuary was named so perfectly. It truly was a sanctuary for our family. The home was well thought out, beautifully decorated and so comfy. Loved there was a solo stove for us to have a fire if wanted, there were TVs in every room, so no fighting over who watched what. The favorite room was the penguin room, our 4.5yo daughter couldn't get over it and would go up there to relax. It's in a perfect location & close to the amenities. We will definitely be returning to The Sanctuary for any future stays in Ocean Shores and Oyhut Bay.

I came here to spend my 40th birthday in peace, but I couldn\'t have expected the incredible experience I had. The home is gorgeous and within steps from the beach access walkway. It's a stones throw from the grill, espresso market, and new wine tasting room. The details in the home are so well thought out. It is comfortable and homey, yet a retreat and "sanctuary" so aptly named. I will certainly be back and my 11 year old daughter wants to join me next time.

We had the pleasure of staying at The Sanctuary for a few days and it was peaceful and very clean. This home is decorated beautifully with modern touches and nice features. (Such as the usb ports in the master bed!) It is nestled in a the new Seaside Village that has nice shops, food and you can walk to the beach in minutes. The house backs up to a wildlife refuge and we were able to see quite a few birds even though it is winter. There was a storm while we were here, but it didn't stop us from exploring outside. When we did stay in, the owner's had a variety of games and televisions in every room! (No fighting over who wanted to watch what!) Our only complaint is that we didn't get to stay longer- but we will be back!

What a beautiful place! The Sanctuary is truly that! We enjoyed our 3 night stay so much we can’t wait to go back. So clean and modern, with so much space for a good size group to stay. The location is the best, close to everything especially playground and the trail to the beach. Oh and plus there’s privacy as well! I couldn’t recommend this place enough. You will truly enjoy!
