058 Captain's Seaside Retreat

I followed my heart and it led me to Captain's Seaside Retreat at the beach! Our beautiful new cottage located in Oyhut Bay Seaside Resort is the "Tide" floor plan and has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The Captain's Seaside Retreat is a dog friendly cottage, so all of your family members can enjoy your stay.

Let the sound of beach waves and the smell of the ocean air fill your hearts while you treasure happy memories during your vacation in our beautiful home. The "Captains Quarters", features the "Captain's Bed", a gorgeous and extremely comfortable king sized bed, and an ensuite bathroom with walk in closet. Our "Crews Quarters" offers the comfort of a queen sized bed. Our home has an inviting open concept living area with ample lighting to read your favorite book, a large flat screen tv to watch your favorite movie or show, or relax by the warm glow of the fireplace. We have a large sofa sleeper allowing additional occupancy. "The Galley" is a spacious kitchen, fully stocked with all of your favorite amenities to bake cookies or make your favorite meal that you and your family and friends can enjoy in our dining area. Our dining area features our handmade maple tree dining table. During your visit we welcome you to browse through the Captain's Seaside Retreat welcome binder. You will learn of our history and the making of our live edge dining room table, our maple burl coffee table and our real "1947 US Navy Ship Porthole" on the back porch. There is a separate laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer for your convenience. Use the hot and cold tap on the side of the garage to wash off the sand, your boots, and the razor clams from your dig. Our cottage is just a short stroll to the Oyhut Bay Grill and Oyhut Bay Market and Bakery, or to the "no car" Oyhut Bay beach.

Captain's Seaside Retreat has a large back patio open to a wide green belt, giving you plenty of space to enjoy the ocean air while watching the deer roam.

Oyhut Bay Seaside Resort is built on the edge of the Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area. Often called the “natural side” of Ocean Shores, this area offers miles of sea level hiking. Bring your camera for some wonderful nature photography. The nearby north jetty has spectacular waves to enjoy from afar - especially at high tide or on a stormy day.

Just across Marine View Drive, Oyhut Bay provides access to 26 miles of canals for kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding. Even on the rainiest of beach days, there is something for everyone at Oyhut Bay. Enjoy a relaxing fire in the fireplace and a good book. There are no bad days at the beach.
