Sea Swept Mermaid is a dog friendly cottage. Please bring your dogs bedding and favorite toy with you, it is appreciated that you do not allow your dogs on the furniture and bedding.
With all the comforts of home, Sea Swept Mermaid is the perfect retreat for your next beach adventure.
Oyhut Bay Seaside Village is built on the edge of the Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area. Often called the “natural side” of Ocean Shores, this area offers miles of sea level hiking. Bring your camera for some wonderful nature photography. The nearby north jetty has spectacular waves to enjoy from afar - especially at high tide or on a stormy day.
Just across Marine View Drive, Oyhut Bay provides access to 26 miles of canals for kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding. Even on the rainiest of beach days, there is something for everyone at Oyhut Bay. Enjoy a relaxing fire in the fireplace and a good book. There are no bad days at the beach.

I would invite my friends to stay there!
Beautiful home very quiet.
This was our first stay at Oyhut Bay and it was wonderful. The house was fantastic, perfect size, with a great outdoor space and lay out. It was easy to get around the compound, to the beach and in to Ocean Shores itself. The Oyhut Market had everything we needed and the restaurant was great for dinner. The pace was perfect for really getting away and unwinding. We will Be back!
