Very clean and looks brand new. Everything in its place, nice quality amenities. Even down to dog beds and pet bowls in case you forgot your own! Neat and tidy and we loved the space. Also liked being at the end of the row for added privacy and parking. Nice bbq grill as well. Loved the outdoor hot/cold rinsing station so we could clean up after going to the beach! It was nice to be able to walk to the village too! Only thing we wished was to be within walking distance to the beach but absolutely loved the place and cant wait to come back!

We ALWAYS love our time in the Oyhut cottages! We've stayed about 8 times and have stayed in 7 different homes. Each has been extremely clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The homes all come stocked with all the cookware and dishware you could need, paper towels, dish soap and sponge and cute decor! My only complaint is the 5pm check in time. It used to be 3pm but sometime in the last year or so switched to 5pm which really puts a cramp in plans and almost makes me wonder if its worth it since check out is 11am, so an "overnight" is really only 17 hrs. Also, store was redone recently and now has coffee shop and the most delicious baked goods ever!!

Given the close proximity to the beach and nature, I would have liked to see a focus on sustainability and organic food, with composting on site, healthier food in the restaurant, NO STRAWS, plastic to-go containers or plastic bags, non-toxic dishwashing soap...there are many ways to increase awareness while decreasing environmental impact. More and more people care about this stuff. Also, Im curious to know what type of disinfectant you are spraying in the rooms before people arrive. Amazing trip like always! Our go to family vacation spot. Save us time and money, not having to purchase and pack everything my family and kids would need. It's all right on site, from cooking, to laundry.. But if you happen to forget something the wonderful people at the market have you covered and have it all. There is something to do for everyone. The beach is about 5 min away and the town is about 10. Not once did I hear "were bored!". Which is a win!!!

Cottage was very pretty and the location was great. We were right across the street from the outdoor games, a fire pit we used in the evening to relax, have a drink and visit and the restaurant is amazing. It is a quick drive to downtown and about a 15 minute walk to the beach (or a few minutes to drive). It was nice being away from any crowds. Felt like you were in a separate little town and seeing the deer was amazing as well. We will definitely be back again!

We loved staying at Oyhut. The house was clean, modern and comfortable. The scenery was gorgeous and so, so many deer! My kids were able to ride bikes, rent movies and play on the play ground. Every time we stay here, we are able to slow down, relax, check out and just enjoy down time. The bistro, coffee house and grocery store (all nearby) help with this, too. Though we only stay here in November, December or January, it is nice to visit and clean up (we own the cottage). We are so happy many folks stay here and leave such wonderful notes in the cottage's notebook.

Sand Piper Cottage has everything we needed to stay in a place without worrying about bringing much. We stayed 2 nights and wished we had another night to enjoy it, but enjoyed the bbq grill, stove and oven for cooking. There was a lot of storage space that made most of the room functional. Absolutely loved everything about this place. The rental staff was so friendly and made us feel right at home. I normally struggle staying at hotels etc because I never feel like it is clean. When we walked in I was immediately very impressed at how clean the place was! I left what I did for website because when I booked there was a code that said if you book and stay before Apr 30 you get 15% off yet the code did not work for me so that was a bummer. We love coming here! Staff at check in and out was very friendly and informational which was nice. My only feedback is on second bedroom with closet locked, it makes hanging clothes difficult. We had to walk downstairs to coat closet to get dressed.

Thank you to everyone that we encountered during our stay. We never know what to expect when we stay in a "pet-friendly" resort. There was not a single sign that pets had ever stayed in the property we rented. Impressive. We have a six pound shitzu, Lola, who does not shed and we are not dog hair people in the slightest. To stay in a place that smelled fresh and was impeccably clean, was AWESOME. Kudos to your maintenance staff and your cleaning crews. We will be back along with Lola, too. :).

We stayed at Sandpiper Cottage for six days and enjoyed every minute. It is cozy, clean, and well appointed with everything we wanted. We were able to cook meals when we wanted and never lacked for the right tool. The proximity to Damon Point is fast and easy. The staff were very helpful and their recommendations for activities never disappointed. We'll go back in a heartbeat.

Everything about Oyhut bay is fantastic from the super friendly guest services to the cottages and entire property. We love the secluded trail to the beach, the playground and front Portch feel. Having the grocery on site along with the bistro just allows you to stay put and enjoy. Unplugged but plugged in at the same time. We loved that the cottage had everything We needed and super nice. One night my husband and I cooked a nice meal for the family, the kids went to bed upstairs and we binge watched a Netflix series with a fire lit down stairs. Wonderful.

Our family will most definitely be returning to stay again. ALL the convenient features of being at home. Cooking doing laundry ect but feeling like we were still on the relaxing vacation that was much needed. Even if we werent able to really go out of the house and enjoy everything you have to offer because of the weather. It was nice just enjoying the fireplace and hanging out as a family. We loved the outdoor opportunities on the property, like outdoor chess, horseshoes, and a fire pit, as well as the quick drive to Damon Point Beach. We belong to Columbia River Camaro Club (CRCC) out of the Portland area. Ever year during the second weekend of August, 35-50 of us meet in Ocean Shores for 3 days of fun and relaxation. We all try to find accommodations near each other, so its a win for us when two or three couples can share a large home together. We are already looking forward to next year! Hopefully some of our friends will stop procrastinating & make their rental arrangements before its too late :-)

It was great! The condo was beautiful and we definitely enjoyed our stay. I thought about staying in multiple hotel rooms, but I'm glad I rented the condo instead; it made for a nice, cozy, family trip. Our daughter and her boyfriend enjoyed the activity area near the rental office. We had a slight issue with the cable not working on the TV in the master bedroom, but we really didn't need it. The only thing our particular unit lacked was a pasta strainer. What we enjoyed most was the cooler weather, since we live in the warm and humid US southeast.

The cottage was modern, well decorated and very comfortable. It was ideal for having a space to return to and prepare meals with our little family after a fun day at the beach. When the tub didnt drain well and the hose didnt work, maintenance responded within minutes and fixed it!

Although the weather was quite chilly for July, our experience in Oyhut bay was excellent. Our beach cabin was well appointed with everything we might need. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. We enjoyed bicycle riding and the hot tub. Off property, we rented kayaks and had a wonderful time exploring the canal system.

This property was ideal, as each room has its own bathroom. The one on the main floor was ideal for Mom, as she didn't have to hike upstairs. The kids enjoyed the well maintained hot tub. The outdoor chairs/cushions were perfect for morning coffee and breakfast. And in the evening the table firepit with real wood crackling and campfire smell brought out a great mood. Even the weather was perfect, as we saw the ISS fly overhead.

Oyhut Bay is the best place to stay in Ocean Shores hands down. We have stayed as just a couple for our anniversary and we have also brought our kids. Tons of amenities on the property like a Sandy area for kids to play or to play some beach volleyball. There is a bar and restaurant. The food at the restaurant is hit and miss but overall there are some amazing options. The walk down to the be ach was fun and it's very secluded and beautiful. We loved our stays and will be back again.
