The Otter Spotter was a great house to stay in. It has a good layout and is perfect for a getaway with friends. It has a lot of extras if you were to bring children here having lots of games and toys and areas to play. The kitchen has everything you need and very well stocked. The beds are super comfortable with nice linens. The added private dock on the canal is a nice amenity as well as a fenced in and gated yard. It was fun having the pool table and shuffle board area. All in all, we love staying at Oyhut. It’s a great alternative to the small hotels and the “other” huge resort that is further up the coast. It is modern yet still has the great laid back and friendly vibe that you come to the ocean for.

Our family plus two other families all stayed at Otter Spotter on the Water and had an absolutely wonderful time! The house was clean with nice modern fixtures and very cozy! The kids loved the play room and second living room upstairs! We could walk to dinner at the Oyhut grill and the kids loved playing at the park as well. Highly recommend this place for your family plus vacations!

This is our second year renting at Herons Haven. Easy access to fish off the pond. Kids enjoyed the hot tub every night before going to bed and the Firepit was amazing for making smores and looking at the stars. Restaurant was in walking distance. As well as the ability to grill a steak if we wanted to stay in. Just about everything you can think of is in this home. Our children are a little more grown so the toys and games were a little young for them.

Great home for family of 4. High ceilings in the living room give a feeling of volume and space without a large footprint. Layout worked to give some separation and privacy. Materials seemed of reasonably high quality and home was well maintained. Location near restaurant/bar and small shopping area was great and a short walk to the trail head to the ocean bay. Hot tub was a nice touch and charger for EVs was also a nice amenity. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will look into this rental the next time we’re out there!
