What a treat Fancy Finish Cottage was! The home had everything you need for a relaxing stay—back porch with rocking chairs & fire pit, a hot tub, and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on! The EV charger for my car and washer/dryer were a huge added bonus. With the beach and restaurants a quick 5 min walk from the home, it really provided everything you’d want for a getaway! I will definitely be visiting again and telling friends to do the same!

This was our first get away in several years due to my husband's illness. It was perfect, he was able to use the shower as it had a small step in. We were able to bring our Cavapoo and even the grandkids came for a day. The fenced in back yard with a fire pit was a plus. The kitchen was set up completely, and the large dining table was great for a round of dominos. We will definately be back again, next time longer stay.

Fancy Finish Cottage is the perfect getaway! The house is beautiful and comfortable. The ocean is a short walk from your doorstep. We went for at least one long beach walk every day and then came back to relax in the hot tub. The house has a full kitchen and grill so we were able to cook anything we like. If you don’t feel like cooking or want a little social interaction, head to Corks and Taps. This wine bar is a 5 minute walk from the house. If you are in town on a Tuesday, check out their Bingo. So fun!!!

Fancy Finish Cottage is lovely cozy and comfy, perfect place to get R&R. 5 minutes walk to the beautiful beach, also to the nice restaurant where fun bingo nights happened on Tuesday night. We joined a group of friends at this amazing home! Our friends arrived first so they had the lay of the land, but it didnt matter who picked their room 1st, 2nd, 3rd 4th because they were all so lovely! Even arriving 2nd we were not sure which room we wanted because they were all so nice! We were so comfortable in our bed we didn't want to get out in the mornings. After we arrived and picked a room we headed straight to the beach for a walk which was just right outside our door. The home backs up to a greenbelt right on the beach, and offers a nice windbreak when you're in the hottub! Definitely a must take advantage of like we did! It was so awesome to be right there with the beach out your back door. There's a lovely view as well from upstairs. The beach was so beautiful, it was like a private oasis, immaculate and pristine, not the crazy public beach we are used to when you head to the ocean elsewhere. Here you had a private sanctuary passing by only the select few who might be a neighbor. We were sure to hit the beach numerous times over our stay despite it being winter. It was like the sky kept clearing over us every time we chose to adventure out. It was so beautiful! The home had so many little personal touches, you could tell the owners really cared about making you comfortable. Like not just your typical commercial instant coffee packets, but they put actual pod selections for you and a Keurig. The kitchenware was top-notch, it was so nice we always returned the favor by taking extra care right back just the way the owners seemed to offer their extra care to us. They even had popcorn and the silicone microwave popper for you to make an extra treat you didn't think to grab, an added touch in case you were ready to settle in on a stormy ocean evening to watch a movie with family. There were board games, and puzzles too. They even had a separate living area on the second floor so that the kids could have separate space and games in the garage like airhockey.

The condo was clean, spacious and well appointed. All toiletries and cleaning supplies are provided. The surrounding village is meticulously cared for and feels like a resort in the best possible way. Check in could not have been easier even though we checked in after hours. Although this is more like an Airbnb than hotel there are no crazy rules or hidden fees that can spoil that last day of vacation. We enjoyed the Cork and Taps-the manager made us feel at home while he prepared a lovely lite dinner for us very near closing time. The folks at the grill were also very kind. These people take hospitality very seriously. They truly care about their guests. What a pleasure.

The Sanctuary was named so perfectly. It truly was a sanctuary for our family. The home was well thought out, beautifully decorated and so comfy. Loved there was a solo stove for us to have a fire if wanted, there were TVs in every room, so no fighting over who watched what. The favorite room was the penguin room, our 4.5yo daughter couldn't get over it and would go up there to relax. It's in a perfect location & close to the amenities. We will definitely be returning to The Sanctuary for any future stays in Ocean Shores and Oyhut Bay.

We stayed at the Sea Stars & Stripes cottage, and it was our first time visiting Oyhut Bay Seaside Village. The community as a whole is quaint and very appealing. The first thing I noticed upon arrived at the cottage was that it was impeccably clean and tidy. The hot tub was warm and ready to go. Everything we needed was right there. The decor and design were perfect and cozy without being over done or too much. The whole community is walkable. There is a bar/restaurant very nearby. A little grocery, gift shop and wine/beer bar too! We will definitely be back and have already been telling friends about it!

The size, layout, and functionality of this house was perfect for our extended family group of ten. Being on the canal provided interesting views from the amazing back deck and yard. The open concept kitchen, dining, and family rooms gave us plenty of space. The kitchen was so well stocked with all kinds of pans, plates, and utensils that you could easily prepare and serve any meal. Having the garage converted into a game room with several great games and a large TV was a huge plus for our grandkids, as was the hot tub in the back yard. We would definitely rent this place again!

We came for our grandson's wedding and this cabin was so nice and everything was clean and comfortable and well supplied. The Queen Tide Cottage is a beautiful home! Love the beach decor! We had a wonderful time with our 2 dogs. There is a super cute trail down to the beach under an arch way not far from the house. This trip we stayed in Barefoot Beach House, beautiful spacious home and enjoyed all aspects of the house, view to ocean/green belt from 2nd floor, bbq and adirondack chairs to relax back deck, outdoor couch in front yard, hose to rinse off before entry with warm water, helpful after hot tub or returning from day at ocean and playing extra games available in the garage. Beautiful kitchen and eating area, well supplied. The home was in excellent condition and we felt welcomed! The Oyhut Bay Grill food and service was excellent too. We\'ll return again. :-)

My family of four along with another family of five had the pleasure of staying at the Barefoot Beach House and we had an incredible experience. The house was spacious and well-appointed for our large group. There was truly something for everyone at this house. The kids had a blast playing in the game room, taking dips in the hot tub and spending time at the nearby park and beaches. My wife and I loved having our own space to relax and unwind. We also enjoyed sharing meals and playing games with our families in the large kitchen and dining spaces. The location of the house is also amazing. It is a short walk to the beach and steps away from restaurants, shops and activities, including free bike rentals. Plus, there are even more shops and beaches within a 10-minute drive to Ocean Shores. The staff at the Barefoot Beach House were also fantastic. They were always friendly and helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. We had an amazing time at the Barefoot Beach House and we definitely plan to return again soon. We would highly recommend the Barefoot Beach House to anyone looking for a delightful vacation rental in Ocean Shores and the perfect place to create lasting memories with your family and friends.

We spent three nights at Captain's Seaside Retreat at the end of June and enjoyed our time immensely. The house exceeded our expectations. It is clean, cute, and comfortable with lots of personal touches throughout. It is well stocked with everything you might need for your stay. It takes less than a minute walk to the restaurant, mini-store, and family game area. It is an easy five minute walk to the beach. The entire village is worth the visit. Such a beautiful spot in Ocean Shores. We can't wait to visit again next year.

We stayed here with another family for the weekend and it was lovely. Every room is inviting and comfortable, and there are multiple spaces to spend time together when you’re not out exploring Ocean Shores. There’s a smaller, more private beach you can just walk down to, or you can drive a few minutes to get to any of the big oceanfront ones nearby— North Jetty was the best, with sandy beach space and rocks for climbing and finding starfish and sea anemones.

What a welcoming and comfortable home! The owners seem to have thought of everything. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with plenty of space to prepare meals. The cozy indoor seating area provided a great place to sit and catch up with friends by the fireplace. All the bedrooms were HUGE with ceiling fans and plenty of light. Outstanding views from two of the upstairs bedrooms! The deck provided an inviting place to relax in the hot tub, BBQ or just sit around the firepit. Even the garage was put to great use with games and a built in bar. Larger or small groups will not want to leave!

I came here to spend my 40th birthday in peace, but I couldn\'t have expected the incredible experience I had. The home is gorgeous and within steps from the beach access walkway. It's a stones throw from the grill, espresso market, and new wine tasting room. The details in the home are so well thought out. It is comfortable and homey, yet a retreat and "sanctuary" so aptly named. I will certainly be back and my 11 year old daughter wants to join me next time.

Our visit to Ocean Shores was delightful! We stayed in suite 207 Feelin Beachy in Oyhut Bay Village. This suite is a two bedroom, two full bath suite with a lot of amenities. They have washer/dryer and even supply the detergent. A built in fireplace that was nice and toasty when we came in from our hike in the rain. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed as far as kitchen ware and small appliances go. They even supplied freshly ground coffee from the coffee shop. Although it rained on us all weekend, there was lots for us to do. We had a very lucrative few hours at Quinault casino. The dinner there at the casino was excellent. We had a good hike in the Ocean City State Park to the waters edge. We caught a movie at the local theater only 10 minutes away from the condo. We went fishing off the boat launch at North Bay Park. There was a trail at Oyhut Bay Seaside Village. We started to take it, but had to turn back because it started to rain harder. The deer came out everyday. They are quite friendly. The Grill restaurant on the premises had wonderful food and great atmosphere. There is a nicely stocked general store/bakery/coffee shop at the corner. Outdoor games of all sorts including bicycles to borrow. I look forward to coming back again in the near future!

This house was well stocked and super clean! The decor and design of the home were well chosen for a relaxing beach getaway. The garage was equipped with fun games, including a ping pong table that ultimately led to a family tournament. This has been the cleanest home we’ve stayed in and we really appreciate that. The owners as well as the team at Oyhut Bay were very informative and responsive, making our stay even more relaxing. We would definitely stay again in a heart beat.

Although it rained all weekend there was plenty to do! This condo was immaculate and very cozy. Everything we needed from laundry and dishwasher detergent was supplied. The kitchen was fully equipped and they even supplied a fresh newly ground coffee for the coffee machine! The grounds were amazing and lots of deer were out roaming the grounds throughout the day. The trail was so pretty but we had to turn around cause it started pouring rain. The Grill restaurant had amazing food at a good value. We played Corn-Hole after dinner one day. What fun! There is a gigantic chess game, volleyball and other outdoor games on the square. The gift shop/market/bakery/coffee shop was nice and convenient. Good quality fresh homemade products. We went to nearby movie theater one night, and enjoyed a few hours at Quinault Casino. We also had a nice hike to the beach from the Ocean City State Park. We went fishing at NorthBay Park. All these places were a 10 minute ride from Oyhut Bay Seaside Village. We had an amazing time! We will return again soon!

We needed to relax. We did. The house had everything we desired and more. Thank you for a well equipped kitchen. The hot tub and firepit were enjoyed each day. I have been to Ocean Shores numerous times but did not know about Oyhut Bay Seaside Village. What a charming community that will not get too big. The walk to the ocean thru the wildlife preserve was great fun and the lattes at the Oyhut Market and Bakery were delicious.

EXCEPTIONAL PLACE!!! This was by far the best vacation home rental my family and I have stayed at. Very spacious home with 5 bedroom and perfect for those large family gatherings. AMAZING OCEAN (BAY) VIEW!! Every morning you can wake up and enjoy your coffee while admiring the beautiful scenery to include much wildlife. SPACIOUS CHEF-STYLE KITCHEN...Perfect place to cook for those large family get-together... Finally,which was our favorite, the HOME THEATER.. In three days I think we watched 6 movies..Very well-designed home theater and the perfect place for the entire family to watch those favorite movies. On-site staff in the rental office, stores, and restaurant was very friendly and helpful. Definitely give this place at 10 out of 10.. Rain or Shine excellent place to stay!! We are already planning our trip back.

We had a fabulous time at the beach in Clam-a-lot! The house is beautiful and has plenty of room for the whole family. I loved the calming modern beach decor. The kitchen was really well stocked. They had every tool and appliance you might need to cook a meal—including some things that I do not have at my own house (an air fryer and instapot!). We went to the Grill for dinner. I absolutely fell in love with the Jalapeño and Corn Clam Chowder. They had live music while we were at the Grill. It made it a really special experience! The path to the beach was close to the house. What a relaxing and fun place to spend the weekend!

My husband and I stayed at the Happiness Beach Cabin with our two grandchildren. I can't say enough about this rental and the little community it is in. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was very well stocked. Our grandkids loved the games and children books that were there. They enjoyed riding their scooters, walks on the beach and going to the playground area which has swings, slides, horseshoes, etc. After long days of activities it was nice to relax in the hot tub. It was truly a relaxing experience and we all had so much fun. We will definitely be returning to the Happiness Beach Cabin.

We decided to book Oyhut Bay the day before and were lucky enough that the Sandpiper Cottage was available for the next few days. It smelled so clean when we entered. It looks exactly like the photos. It was enough room for 2, maybe 4 with younger kids. There was just a TV in the living room but it was actually nice to have a quiet bedroom space. The room is smaller but we had enough room for our luggage. Cooking was so easy and everything we needed was provided. It’s just a couple minutes walk from the store and across the road from the restaurants. We enjoyed our escape. We will visit again but maybe a larger cottage next time.

First time staying in Oyhut Bay. Very cute community and lots of activities to do besides going into town. The beach we went to was just a 5/10 minute walk. The Happiness house was amazing and had everything we needed for cooking. It felt like I was at home in my own kitchen cooking. The beds were so comfortable and relaxing I had no problem taking a nap! The night was just as amazing because instead of turning on the TV we played games. There was actually a few to choose from. Our family came to treat my parents to a long weekend away at the beach for my mom's 78th birthday. The house had plenty of room for the 6 of us, including the upstairs family space for our teenager to hang out, and the ping pong table and basketball game for our son to enjoy. I was thankful for master bedrooms on both the main and second floors, so my parents didn't have to climb stairs. All the beds were super comfortable, and rooms were very spacious. We also loved walking down to the Bakery in the morning and enjoyed an incredible dinner at the Oyhut Bay Grill - everything just within few blocks of the house. We had the pleasure of staying at The Sanctuary for a few days and it was peaceful and very clean. This home is decorated beautifully with modern touches and nice features. (Such as the usb ports in the master bed!) It is nestled in a the new Seaside Village that has nice shops, food and you can walk to the beach in minutes. The house backs up to a wildlife refuge and we were able to see quite a few birds even though it is winter. There was a storm while we were here, but it didn't stop us from exploring outside. When we did stay in, the owner's had a variety of games and televisions in every room! (No fighting over who wanted to watch what!) Our only complaint is that we didn't get to stay longer- but we will be back!

Great House, perfect size. Spacious and Cozy. Pictures need to be updated but there is a Hot Tub and fenced in back yard. Great wrap around porch and perfect walking distance to everything in the village. I'd highly recommend staying at the Sasquatch Shore house for anyone considering to come to Oyhut!

Our stay at the Cinema By The Sea was so special. Beautifully decorated home. The house had everything, plenty of space, awesome views, and the theater room was spectacular. All the comforts we wanted or needed during our stay. Access to the beach is so close. The local market and bakery along with the restaurant were within walking distance. A delightful addition was seeing all the local deer wondering. Great place for a family gathering or girls week or weekend away! We will be back.

What a beautiful place! The Sanctuary is truly that! We enjoyed our 3 night stay so much we can’t wait to go back. So clean and modern, with so much space for a good size group to stay. What a beautiful, relaxing and fun place to get away for a few days! The spacious accommodations were superb with so many nice amenities, and our boys especially enjoyed all the fun things to play with in the garage. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and hope to return often!

We had a truly awesome, relaxing, fun time. The house is very clean, well supplied and decorated beautifully. The open floor plan was perfect for our family of six. The three granddaughters were in heaven with the playground, sand volleyball pit, large chess set, and bike rentals. The Oyhut Bay Seaside Village Community is well taken care of and we felt real comfortable and secure with the girls being out and about. The short walk to the beach was an added bonus, plus the private hot tub and propane fire pit at the cottage added to the enjoyment of the trip. We will definitely be back, the girls are already planning out next trip. I highly recommend Captain's Seaside Retreat!

This house is in pristine condition! It is clean, and inviting! My family most enjoyed the community it is in. A playground, sandbox games, life size chess set, bike rentals, DVD’s rentals, and a hop and skip away from the beach! Our kids didn’t want to leave!! This is a wonderful place to stay. Great amenities, love the decor and designs overall. For a family of 6, everyone was able to get their own rooms and bathrooms without any fighting. The game room was a hit with the basketball and the ping pong table. The board games provided were a great option for the family to play. And the entertainment was very convenient for us to have a movie night. The community is wonderful and very quiet Great staff at the office and the coffee house has some great coffee. Didn\'t get a chance to use the hot tub because it was in the mid-60s, but will have to try it out when the weather gets warmer. I would highly recommend staying at this property, if you get a chance!

Directions on how to find the short walk to the beach. My family did daily beach walks it was gorgeous. Nice to have the market and coffee shop. We had an awesome time staying at Vista Del Mar at the Oyhut Village. The condo had 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and it was perfect for my husband and I and our 3 children. We were able to cook meals at the condo and the kitchen was fully equipped with every appliance or gadget you could need for baking and meal prepping. We spent our days at the beach while my husband went fishing and we were able to retreat to the condo after a full day of fun and nature!

We come to ocean shores multiple times a year, but were getting tired of cramming our family of five into a hotel room where we needed a vacation from our vacation, so we decided to check out rental home options, and found the oyhut condos. As soon as we drove onto the property, we fell in love! We had a small hiccup at check it after booking.com made a mistake, but Lorene took care of us in a professional and personable way, talking to me as if I was her favorite client. When I came in the next day, she remembered me by my first name, and helped us with what we needed. We loved how many supplies there were for our stay, and that we only needed to go into town for food (we loved that we didnt even need to buy dish soap, tabs, or laundry detergent). We will absolutely be staying here again! Our only complaints were that the beds were a little hard for our liking, theres no view (the listing didnt say there was, so we knew we wouldnt have one when we booked), and we would have liked a step stool for our littlest (3.5 year old) to use in the bathroom (which well just bring with us next time). Other than that, 10/10 on all parts

came for our anniversary weekend and brought the dog. the home was super clean (which is not always the case in other dog friendly places we have been to). the kitchen was STOCKED - had everything we needed to make a nice dinner and what it didnt have, the market did. our dog absolutely loved the beach path to the beach (his first time!) and it was so nice being able to walk him around the property and feel so at ease. will absolutely be coming back (might have to be an annual thing!).

This property was amazing and homely. It was a very quiet and peaceful area. Very family friendly. The grounds were nice and clean. There were ample fire pits to sit in front of and get warm. The rental office had plenty of board games and videos. The house was fully equipped with cooking and some cleaning supplies. There was an on-site bar and grill, coffee/pastry stand, and market. There was also a play ground for the little ones. I plan on booking a stay there in the future.

The cottages are built around the deer, they are so tame and used to the people and make a statement that they are not going anywhere. We found the condo spacious and roomy for a family of five plus their grandmother. Had bedrooms/bathrooms for us all, with good privacy and quiet spaces. It was a very relaxing and restful experience. We even enjoyed the ride on the elevator:). The whole village atmosphere, with outdoor lights at night, was lovely. The condo was beautifully decorated, a real beach experience. In fact my granddaughters called it the "beach house." The floor plan was well laid out, spacious and conducive to resting and relaxing. We shopped at the Market and got a coffee and snacks there. We sat around the outside fire pit one evening. The parking was close by. The condo was a short drive to the beach and downtown. All in all a great location.
